BSB Nanotech Reports Breakthrough Yield and Quality Results from ECO OK Field Trials in India

Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal Farmers See Up to 37.5% Yield Increase and Enhanced Rice Fragrance with ECO OK Application

HCM city, Vietnam– April 2025 – BSB Nanotech Joint Stock Company, a pioneer in rice husk-derived nanotechnology, is pleased to announce the successful results of multi-season field trials of its flagship agricultural innovation, ECO OK, conducted across three key Indian states—Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal. The trials demonstrated significant yield increases in both rice and wheat crops, as well as notable improvements in grain quality.

ECO OK is a biogenic silica foliar spray, sustainably produced from ultra-pure rice husk silica. It is designed to enhance plant resilience, nutrient uptake, and photosynthetic efficiency—making it an ideal solution for climate-resilient and high-performance farming.

📈 Key Results Across India:

• Uttar Pradesh (Rabi - Wheat 2023-24):

Average yield increase of 13% was recorded across trial sites in Jhansi, Kanpur, and Bahraich.

• West Bengal (Kharif - Paddy 2024-25):

Trials conducted in Coochbehar, Majihan, and Kalimpong showed an average yield increase of 16.97%.

• Maharashtra (Kharif - Paddy 2023-24):

Exceptional yield gains were reported, with up to 37.5% increase at DBSKKV Dapoli and an overall average increase of 23.10%.

🌾 Additional Scientific Observation:

In West Bengal, agronomists observed a stronger and more pleasant fragrance in rice grains treated with ECO OK. This qualitative improvement opens new opportunities for value-added aromatic rice varieties in both domestic and export markets.
